About
Neisha Cass is a highly skilled Equine Assisted Therapist, Counsellor, and Psychotherapist who is dedicated to guiding individuals on their journey of personal growth and healing. Drawing from her own experiences with C-PTSD, fatigue, Neurodiversity and burnout, Neisha's passion for helping others has led her to explore alternative therapeutic modalities beyond traditional talk therapy.
With a deep understanding of the power of expressive therapies and somatic counseling, Neisha combines these approaches with nature and Animal/Equine Assisted Therapy to provide a unique and holistic approach to healing. She believes in the profound impact of creativity, expression, and an awareness of our internal body states in living an authentic life.
Neisha creates a warm and safe space for her clients to share their stories and embark on a journey of self-discovery and acceptance. Through her guidance, clients are able to build self-confidence, gain awareness, rediscover their strengths, and work towards positive change in all aspects of their lives.
Neisha offers Equine Assisted Therapy at her practice in Tallebudgera Valley on the Gold Coast, as well as in-person counselling sessions in Shorncliffe, North Brisbane, and online. She is dedicated to providing accessible support for individuals seeking healing and transformation. Her integrative approach and unwavering commitment make her a trusted and compassionate therapist in Equine Assisted Therapy, Counselling, and Psychotherapy. In Shorncliffe, counselling sessions are held by the serene Cabbage Tree Creek or on the veranda during inclement weather.
Many people turn to Equine Assisted Therapy when other therapeutic options have felt inaccessible or have not provided the desired outcomes. The presence of horses often attracts individuals to this type of therapy, especially those who love and adore animals. However, don't let the absence of horses deter you from seeking the counselling and psychotherapy support you need. Neisha offers the same compassionate and effective care in both her Tallebudgera Valley and Shorncliffe practices.
Sessions held in nature, by the creek, can support the nervous system in ways similar to the presence of horses and other animals. This therapeutic style is affirming, empowering, and provides a fresh approach different from any therapy you may have tried before. Neisha's evidence-based methods are impactful, offering new and profound experiences in your healing journey.
